THERMISTOR

"Thermistor" is the generic name given to thermally sensitive resistors.Negative temperature coefficient thermistors have a characteristic resistance which falls as temperature rises. The thermistor is a semiconducting ceramic resistor produced by sintering the materials at high temperature and made mainly from metal oxide. Depending on the manufacturing method and the structure, there are many shapes and characteristics for various purposes such as temperature measurement, temperature compensation and etc.

TEMPERATURE SENSOR

The TEMPERATURE SENSOR is assembled one with various parts and thermistor devices according to the required applications. lts electric characteristics are the same as those of thermistor devices. Variable type of sensor can be utilized for detecting or controlling temperature because its operating temperature range is wide from -50 to + 300°C. Standard TEMPERATURE SENSOR is available inaccordance with the applications such as measurements of liquid, atmosphere and surface temperature.

The Non Contact Sensor reads temperature by remotely detecting infrared heat from an object.

POWER THERMISTOR (INRUSH CURRENT SUPPRESSORS)

The POWER THERMISTOR is a device for suppressing inrush current to an electric circuit. Circuits including electric bulbs or capacitors induce a inrush current more than 100 times the normal current when the circuit switch is turned on. The POWER THERMISTOR in the circuits protects electric equipments from being damaged by limiting the inrush current.

VRD (TRANSIENT VOLTAGE SUPPRESSOR)

VRD is a transient voltage suppressor used for protecting electric circuits from surge voltage and thus preventing breakdown. VRD has superior surge suppression characteristics, such as extremely fast response time, very low clamping voltage, and high surge capacity. Unlike metal oxide varistors, VRD charactaristics do not change with surge variation within the rated capacity. This is a feature comprises another superior characteristics of the VRD as a transient voltage suppressors.
